Ulisse Sartini

Have you ever thought about ART as something luxurious and glamorous?

I love paintings and I find the representation of people mind-blowing. When I see a beautiful canvas, I just forget about the rest and concentrate on the image like if it were feeding my eyes.

Eva Kant and her partner recognize the value of paintings; this is the reason why they collect them, not only for their monetary value, but also for their ability to satisfy our senses.

Most people, when thinking of luxurious canvases, thing of Leonardo Da Vinci or Raffaello, but many don't know about this portraitist who has become my favourite "contemporary" painter. I call him contemporary, because he still works, but his technique is typical of the Renaissance.

Sartini, native of Piacenza, has been working in Milan since the beginning of his career and as I told you before, uses a technique typical of the Renaissance which reflects the inner beauty of bodies. During the course of his life, he has portrayed pictures of angles, popes, famous people and rich lovers of art who understood the potential value of his paintings.

Take a look at some of his portraits... aren't they beautiful? luxurious? glamorous?
